West St. Paul man indicted on drug trafficking, gun charges

A West St. Paul man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking and gun charges.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 32-year-old Christopher Allen Stengle is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute meth, carrying a gun for drug trafficking, having a gun to further drug trafficking efforts, and felon in possession of a gun.

Prosecutors say Stengle had cocaine, methamphetamine and two semiautomatic pistols on at least two separate occasions between January 2021 and May 2022. His prior felony convictions in Anoka, Ramsey and Washington counties make it illegal for him to have a gun or ammunition.
