State Patrol seeks driver in Minneapolis rollover crash

The Minnesota State Patrol is trying to identify a driver who fled a rollover crash in Minneapolis Tuesday night.

State Patrol Lt. Gordan Shank says that shortly before 8:30 p.m. troopers attempted to pull over a vehicle on I-94 for suspected traffic violations, but the driver failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated.

Authorities discontinued the pursuit due to safety concerns. Shortly after, the suspect vehicle then crashed and rolled at the intersection of Lyndale and Hennepin avenues in Minneapolis.

The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene and police are working to identify them.

There were no injuries reported from the crash.

This incident remains under investigation.
