Minneapolis man pleads guilty in attempted robbery-turned-murder
A Minneapolis man has pleaded guilty in connection to an attempted robbery-turned-murder this spring.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Friday that 30-year-old Marlow Ramsey Carson entered a guilty plea to a Hobbs Act robbery, including one of interference with commerce by robbery and one county of possessing ammunition as a felon.
Prosecutors say Carson robbed Blue Sky Wireless and West Bend Furniture in Minneapolis on April 27. During the robbery, he allegedly shot and killed the store clerk.
His sentencing date will be scheduled at a later time.
