Man found guilty of fatal shooting at St. Paul Saloon

A Ramsey County jury has found a man guilty of murder in connection to a fatal shooting at St. Paul Saloon last year.

Thursday, jurors found 38-year-old Andrew Vernard Glover guilty of first-degree murder by drive-by shooting, second-degree murder, illegal gun possession and two counts of drive-by shooting. He was also acquitted of first-degree premeditated murder.

He was charged in connection to the death of 20-year-old Raymond Renteria Hobbs, who was fatally shot at St. Paul Saloon on Feb. 23, 2021. The shooting also injured a woman, who survived.

Glover’s sentencing is set for Oct. 31.
