Help needed in finding driver, vehicle responsible for hitting Golden Valley pedestrian

Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in finding the person and vehicle that hit a pedestrian last week in Golden Valley.

According to Golden Valley Police, officers were called about a pedestrian-involved crash in the 9500 block of Wayzata Boulevard at around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30.

Police said the driver of the vehicle — described as a blonde female in her early 30s — stopped to help the 18-year-old victim and took him to his home but never reported the crash to police.

Authorities say the victim suffered significant injuries and was taken to a hospital. He’s since been released.

The involved vehicle is described as a light-colored 2015-16 Toyota Yaris. Police said it likely has noticeable damage to the front end and windshield.

Police asked anyone with information to call 763-593-8079 or email police@goldenvalleymn.gov.
