Hartland Post Office temporarily closed due to storm damage

The U.S. Postal Service says one of its buildings in Minnesota is temporarily closed due to damage it received during a storm Wednesday.

According to the USPS, customers who use the location in Hartland will need to pick up mail, packages and Post Office Box mail at the New Richland Post Office as repairs are made at the Hartland Post Office.

The USPS says no mail was damaged during the storm.

In addition to picking up mail at the New Richland Post Office, customers will also need to do retail transactions at that location. Those can be done from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Officials haven’t established a timeline for when retail services will resume.

Anyone who had their mail on hold will also be able to get their mail on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the New Richland Post Office lobby.

The New Richland Post Office is located on the 100 block of Broadway Avenue North.
