Cleanup of Plymouth train derailment to extend into summer
The cleanup of a train derailment that happened Sunday in Plymouth is expected to extend into the summer, according to the city.
As cleanup occurs, Pineview lane will remain closed near the tracks. The city says residents will still have access to their homes.
A temporary road will also be built near the site to facilitate the removal of the train cars.
Crews with Canadian Pacific are also monitoring air, water and soil quality at the site. At this time, none of the contents of the cars have leaked.
