2 stabbed during fight in St. Cloud, police working to arrest suspect

Two people were injured Sunday morning after a fight broke out in a parking lot in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud police say several people were fighting around 1:40 a.m. in the parking lot at Fifth Avenue and First Street South.

During the fight, one person stabbed two others and then fled. Police say the person responsible for the stabbings, a 44-year-old woman, hasn’t yet been arrested.

No description of the suspect has been provided at this time.

The two victims, ages 35 and 19, were taken to a hospital for treatment. One suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the other had minor injuries, according to police.

Both stabbing victims were cited for disorderly conduct for their roles in the fight, as was another 27-year-old involved in the altercation.
