1 dead in single-vehicle crash in Becker County

A man is dead after he crashed his car Saturday morning in rural Becker County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Hyundai Tiburon was driving on Highway 34 at Old Mill Road in Carsonville Township when it left the road and jumped on an approach. The vehicle tumbled westward before coming to a rest on its wheels.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man from Mancos, Colorado, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending family notification. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, State Patrol said.
