Country music fans braved frigid Minnesota temps Friday night to party with Eric Church on night one of his 'Double Down Tour' at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The North Carolina-native let the fully-packed arena know that "we're live on the radio [Sirius XM] right now. We picked four cities that we have history with so tonight Minneapolis we're gonna play a lot of songs and we're gonna have a lot of fun!"

Church and his band put on an incredible performance, pulling songs from all six of his studio albums in a little over three hours, taking only a 20-minute break, which he so kindly put a countdown on the video screen for all to see as they refilled drinks and stretched their legs before set two.

"Thank y'all for being here tonight, whether it's your first time with us or if you partied at our first ever stop here in Minnesota at The Cabooze back in 2005," Church told fans. "To this day, it's one of the best shows we've ever done."

Crowd favorites seemed to be "Chattanooga Lucy," "Homeboy," "Give Me Back My Hometown," "Record Year" and "Sinners Like Me."

The most memorable part of the night may have been when Church took the stage for his solo acoustic medley that included his own "Mistress Named Music" and covers from Bob Seger ("We've Got Tonight"), Travis Tritt ("It's a Great Day to Be Alive"), The Beatles ("Hey Jude") and Minnesota's own Prince ("Kiss").

Kudos to the very talented Joanna Cotton who beautifully backed Church throughout the night.
