Tuesday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported there are 83 new cases that have tested positive for COVID-19, creating a total of 1,069 cases in the state.
Thirty-four total deaths have also been reported, with four additional deaths reported Tuesday.
The department stated, as of Tuesday, the state has completed 8,922 tests and private labs have completed 20,338 tests.
Of the total, 242 cases have required hospitalization.
According to MDH, 549 patients no longer need to be isolated.
Counties added Tuesday to the list of counties with at least one active case were Roseau and Swift.
According to the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering, the virus has infected about 1,360,039 people worldwide and killed about 75,973.
More than 291,991 people have recovered as of Tuesday.
According to the CDC, patients with confirmed COVID-19 have mild to severe respiratory problems, with symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath. Some patients report having muscle aches, headache, sore throat, and/or diarrhea.
