MDH: 5 new COVID-19 death, 278 new cases

Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported:

• Five new death from COVID-19
• 278 newly-reported positive COVID-19 tests

Additionally, MDH said:

• Over 5.8 million COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered
• Over 2.9 people have completed the vaccine series
• 68% of those 16 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine

Data posted on Tuesdays will be for the remainder of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and as of 4 a.m. on Monday.
