The closing is one of several in recent months along Grand Avenue. Up and down the street there are empty storefronts with for lease signs.

Business leaders are working on developing a task with the neighborhood to address any concerns along the avenue.

"We're confident that they will be filled and that Grand will continue to stay the Grand Avenue that it is," Connie DeLage with Grand Avenue Business Association said. "We're in a place of evolution and we're working collaboratively with the city to come up with solutions and recommendations that we think will keep that avenue just moving."

The task force plans to bring up any ideas and concerns to the city by this spring.
