Minnesota Lottery to Give Away 250 Free Mega Millions Tickets

With Friday's Mega Millions worth a record-setting $900 million, the Minnesota Lottery is celebrating by giving away a select number of free Mega Millions tickets Friday.


The tickets will be given to the first 250 people who visit the Lottery's Scratch Utility Vehicle and say "I'MN."

The Scratch Utility Vehicle will be located at the Minnesota Lottery headquarters from 2645 Long Lake Road in Roseville and the giveaway will be from noon to 1 p.m. 

The next lottery drawing will be Friday. The estimated jackpot for that drawing would be the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

The Associated Press reported Wednesday that the odds of winning the jackpot aren't good, at one in 302.5 million.
