Lunds & Byerlys announced the company will permanently close its 14 pharmacy locations.

According to a release from the company, the last day the pharmacies will be open will be July 16.

The company says it plans to transfer its prescription files to nearby Walgreens locations.

"Unfortunately, it has become increasingly difficult for retail pharmacies given a number of economic challenges in the industry," the company said in a statement. "As a result, we have continue to incur significant losses in our pharmacy operations, and it is no longer feasible to continue offering this service."
