Some St. Paul entrepreneurs are getting a helping hand when it comes to starting their companies.
That's thanks to Lunar Startups, which opened this month in a downtown office building. The program provides shared office space for entrepreneurs from unrepresented communities.

American Public Media launched the program with a $1 million grant from the Knight Foundation.
"Really, what we're trying to do is to create a more equal playing field and demonstrate that what we used to think a CEO might look like is actually pretty diverse now," Danielle Steer, the senior program manager for the program, which will help 14 start-up companies over the next year.
