New changes mean new opportunities at MSP International Airport.
A job fair was held Tuesday at the airport for more than 200 full and part-time positions.
Employers at the airport are looking for people at all skill levels to work in hospitality, restaurant, retail and aviation-related positions.
30 new restaurants will open in the airport over the next 18 months, including a new food court in Terminal 1.
Next week the first and only hotel attached to the airport, InterContinental Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, is expected to open.
A recent report ranked MSP International Airport number one in the world for on-time performance.
"That's a big nod to the airlines for keeping things running smoothly and for MSP when we get those sorts of awards it's also a nod to our crews that keep the airfield clear in the winter," MSP International Airport spokesman John Welbes said.
A new parking ramp is being built at Terminal 1, it will have 5,000 spaces when it's completed in 2020.
The airport also received a $5.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to improve the taxiway and runway lighting.
