Ruiz Food Products has recalled 55,000 pounds of frozen breakfast burritos due to possible contamination of a foreign matter, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Safety Inspection Service.

The burritos were produced on Oct. 15 and have a "best if used by" date of Jan. 1, 2021, and a lot code of 19288. The product was distributed nationwide.
