Chrysler has recalled thousands of vehicles due to various issues that increase the risk of crashes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The company recalled several different models due to the issues. Those models include the 2019 Jeep Cherokee, the 2017 and 2018 Jeep Renegade and the 2017 and 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric.

According to the NHTSA, an estimated 86,053 Jeep Cherokees, 21,104 Jeep Renegades and 10,021 Chrysler Pacificas have been recalled.

More from KSTP:

According to the NHTSA, improper transmission calibration in the Jeep Cherokee has caused the vehicle to stall.

The Jeep Renegade has been recalled due to a manufacturing error in the fuel pump that may result in the loss of fuel pressure.

The Chrysler Pacifica has been recalled due to issues with the gas-fueled engine restarting improperly, according to the NHTSA.

The Jeep Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica recall begin on Dec. 8. The Jeep Renegade recall begins on Dec. 6.
