Companies have recalled a snowsuit and children's book due to choking hazards, according to the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission.

The Children's Place has recalled three varieties of its infant snowsuits due to the hazard. 


According to the USCPSC, the metal snaps on the snowsuit can detach, causing a choking hazard. 

About 14,900 of the snowsuits have been sold in the United States.

Consumers are asked to stop using the recalled snowsuit and contact the Children's Place for a full refund.

Meanwhile, according to the USCPSC, Manhattan Toy Company has recalled its children's soft book.

The USCPSC reports a metal grommet on the book can detach, posing a choking hazard. 

About 1,180 books were sold at independent retailers nationwide and online from March 2017 to July 2018. 

Consumers are asked to stop using the book and contact the Manhattan Toy Company for a full refund.
