Giants never a factor in 3rd loss to Eagles this season

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The New York Giants’ season is over after they fell 38-7 to the Philadelphia Eagles. New York was one of the surprises of the season and won a wild-card game last week over Minnesota on the road. But the Giants couldn’t solve the NFC East rival Eagles, losing all three games against the conference’s No. 1 seed. New York trailed 28-0 at halftime and never got anything going. Daniel Jones was held to 135 yards passing with an interception and Saquon Barkley ran for 61 yards. The question now for the Giants is whether Jones will return after the Giants declined to pick up his fifth-year option.
