OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — New Oakland right-hander Shintaro Fujinami has been formally introduced by the Athletics after signing a $3.25 million, one-year contract. The 28-year-old Fujinami is slated to be a starter for Oakland after spending the past 10 seasons in Japan with the Central League’s Hanshin Tigers.
