No. 3 Purdue uses 3-point flurry to take down Nebraska 73-55

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Fletcher Loyer had a season-high 27 points and Zach Edey added 12 to give No. 3 Purdue a historic 73-55 victory over Nebraska. The Boilermakers are 16-1 for the first time since 1993-94, and are the 11th Division I program with 1,900 all-time wins. Matt Painter also became the fifth conference coach to win 400 games at one school. Derrick Walker had 19 points for the Cornhuskers, who were missing two injured starters. Purdue scored the final six points of the first half and the first 11 in the second to extend a five-point lead to 46-26.
