Kilde dominates World Cup downhill in big win over Odermatt

WENGEN, Switzerland (AP) — The dominant men’s downhill racer is Aleksander Aamodt Kilde — clearly. Kilde won Switzerland’s marquee World Cup race at Wengen on Saturday by a big margin for his fourth win in six downhills this season. Swiss standout Marco Odermatt was second though far behind with a 0.88 seconds gap. Mattia Casse was 1.01 back in third matching his career-best result. Three-time Wengen winner Beat Feuz was fifth ahead of retiring next weekend. Kilde has a clear lead over Odermatt in the World Cup downhill standings. Odermatt has a bigger lead over Kilde in the overall standings.
