INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay is telling fans his franchise fell short of expectations in 2022 — and that he’s responsible for finding solutions. The comments came in an open letter to the fans just three days after general manager Chris Ballard told reporters he failed. Indy went 4-12-1 in 2022 after opening the season with playoff hopes and title aspirations. It’s the third time in four years the Colts have missed the postseason. But Irsay is already plotting a way back. Indy’s coaching search is moving at full speed, and Irsay confirmed Thursday night the team had finished interviewing Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
