CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Guardians have announced finalized plans for a $200 million renovation at Progressive Field. While the ballpark has aged well since opening in 1994, it is now the 11th oldest in Major League Baseball and in need of improvements. The team’s three-year renovation will focus on redoing the upper deck, the ballpark’s Terrace Club restaurant and remodeling the clubhouses, which haven’t been upgraded in 28 years. The renovation is coinciding with the team being back among the contenders in the American League after winning a division title last season while having baseball’s youngest team.
