LOS ANGELES (AP) — Even as they prepare to play in the College Football Playoff championship game on Monday, players for No. 1 Georgia and No. 3 TCU admitted they were frightened after seeing Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin go into cardiac arrest. Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart held team meetings with medical staff and a mental health specialist this week in an effort to inform his players. Georgia defensive line coach Tray Scott hopes more people will learn CPR and first aid as a result.
