November 15, 2015 12:22 PM

Flip Saunders will be featured in a tribute video before tipoff at Target Center during the Minnesota Timberwolves home opener Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Saunders, who was part-owner, president of basketball operations and head coach, died Sunday from complications of cancer.

The team will have a free breakfast in the skyway of Mayo Clinic Square. The free breakfast will be from 6-9 a.m. Free doughnuts and coffee will be served and those in attendance will have the opportunity to win tickets to the opener.

The first 10,000 fans entering Target Center when doors open at 5:30 p.m. to the public will receive a 2015-16 Timberwolves team schedule magnet.

The Saunders tribute video will be played during pregame. The video will also feature Saunders’ friends, former colleagues, former teammates and coaches.

The Timberwolves will also debut their 2015-16 home commemorative patch jerseys to honor Saunders.
