WEATHER FORECAST

Were holding on to an active weather pattern that features plenty of snow! I'm sure you've heard we're likely looking at the snowiest February on record for the Twin Cities, and right now, it looks like we'll likely greatly surpass our previous record of 26.5" set back in 1962 (as we only need 3.9" to do so, and we've got a good deal more than that on the way)! So night snow starts to work its way into the metro well after midnight. We're in the thick of things by the morning commute, with a few inches of snow on the ground by the morning commute (and snowfall rates of even 1" per hour). We're currently under a WINTER STORM WARNING midnight tonight through 6PM Wednesday across the Twin Cities (the warning extends across most of eastern MN, central and southern MN, as well as much of western Wisconsin). We're looking at 6-9" of snow for the metro by tomorrow evening. We still have a handful of snow chances through the week, for more details click here: https://kstp.com/article/13067/  Meteorologist Wren Clair
