UPDATE: State patrol says person of interest identified in fatal Morrison County hit-and-run

The Minnesota State Patrol said on Thursday they have identified a person of interest relating to the fatal hit-and-run crash that happened in Morrison County on Sept. 14.
Authorities add they are still seeking additional information from anyone who may have witnessed or driven by the crash scene or have heard anything regarding the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol is seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle and driver that were involved in a fatal pedestrian crash Sunday morning.
According to the state patrol, the crash occurred between 4:30 and 6:10 a.m. near Pierz.
First responders were called after a man was found lying on Highway 25. The man, identified as 40-year-old Joseph Herold, was pronounced dead at the scene.
