Few showers late today into Saturday morning, warm weekend forecast
Happy Friday! It was a mild start to the day with lows in the low-50s this morning. High temperatures today are again in the mid to low-70s with breezy southerly winds and an elevated fire risk.
Cloud cover increases into the afternoon west to east, with scattered showers possible this afternoon across western Minnesota. Scattered light showers are possible in eastern Minnesota this evening, overnight into Saturday morning.
Rainfall totals will remain low, and the rain is not going to be widespread. Tomorrow starts out cloudy, with decreasing cloud cover opening up to a mainly dry and pleasant Saturday forecast.
Temperatures stay in the low-70 tomorrow, with near record high temperatures Sunday as high temperatures are in the upper-70s.
We’re not looking at any significant rainfall in the current 7-day, and temperatures trend mild into next week.
