X Games canceled amid COVID-19 pandemic

Organizers announced the cancellation of the X Games Minneapolis Friday.
"The safety of all the athletes, staff and spectators is our top priority, and we will continue to closely monitor the situation for all X Games," organizers said in a statement.
The X Games, an extreme sports event, is held annually.
Last year, hundreds of athletes participated in the event.
