Bloomington police investigating 3 possible overdoses, 1 death at hotel
Bloomington police are investigating three possible overdoses and one death Thursday morning.
According to a release from the Bloomington Police Department, police responded to the Super 8 Hotel at 7800 Second Avenue S. just after 1:15 a.m. on a call regarding an unconscious man found in the lobby restroom.
When officers arrived, they made contact with a 36-year-old man. Officers were able to get a verbal response from physical stimulus and determined he had possibly overdosed. He was transported to Fairview Southdale.

Officers then attempted to make contact with the room the victim had been staying in. After receiving no response at the door, an officer decided to look through the outside window and saw two unconscious men in the room.
Officers then made entry and discovered a 35-year-old man and a 25-year-old man in the room. The 35-year-old, from Lake Elmo, was deceased. Police said the 25-year-old, from Inver Grove Heights, was breathing and Naloxone was administered to the victim before he was transported to Fairview Southdale.
An investigation into the case remains active.
