Local brother makes NHL debut against older brother

Mikey and Joey Anderson are your classic Minnesota rink-rats. They love to play hockey anywhere, anytime. With the NHL on pause for now, they had to find a way to scratch their hockey itch, even being at the expense of their parents Roseville home.

The Anderson brothers played high school hockey at Hill-Murray, then they both played college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Joey was drafted by the New Jersey Devils and made his NHL debut on October 27, 2018. Mikey was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings. He made his NHL debut on February 28, 2020… against Joey and the New Jersey Devils.
Mom and Dad were able to make it to the game to watch Mikey’s debut.
