Minnesotans have one more day to enjoy warmer weather before snowfall is expected to make its way to the state.
KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl said temperatures on Wednesday are expected to reach a high of 38 degrees. Dahl also said because of added moisture in the air, there is a chance for freezing drizzle Wednesday morning.
Once colder air moves into the area Thursday morning, Dahl said snow is expected to fall.
Dahl said east-central Minnesota could receive around 3 to 7 inches of snow. The Twin Cities could see 3 to 5 inches.
Temperatures on Thursday are expected to reach 18 degrees. Temperatures will continue to drop, staying in the single digits through the holiday weekend into Tuesday.
