Warm Weather Expected Moving into Weekend

March 01, 2018 10:27 PM

As Minnesotans head into the weekend, they can expect more warm weather, according to KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Dahl said to expect some sun Friday and temperatures in the 40s. Clouds are expected to move into the Twin Cities area later in the day.

Once again, Dahl said people need to watch out for slick surfaces Friday morning due to refreeze.

Moving into Saturday, a sunny sky and temperatures in the high 40s are expected.

Temperatures are expected to be in the high 40s again Sunday. However, rain is expected in the afternoon.

While many may be enjoying the warm weather, Dahl said there is a chance for snow showers Tuesday. He added it may be enough for shoveling and plowing.
