Warm Streak to Continue Into the Week

Even with December right around the corner, winter weather is the last thing Minnesotans will be experiencing this week.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan, the next week is expected to be extremely warm.

Sunday is expected to mostly sunny, with temperatures in the 50s. On Monday, temperatures will continue to rise, reaching 60 degrees.

The rest of the week is expected to be in the 40s, with the exception of Thursday, when temperatures may come close to a high of 38 degrees.

Ryan said Minnesotans need to enjoy the warm weather while they can, because arctic air building in northwestern Canada and parts of Alaska is expected to move south soon. Ryan said it will begin to feel more like winter sometime after Dec. 5.
