Temperature Outlook: 40s Expected Friday, 50s Over the Weekend

March 15, 2018 10:35 PM

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said the first 50-degree day of the year could be coming this weekend.

But first, Minnesotans will have another day in the 40s.

Friday is expected to be partly cloudy, with the temperature reaching a high of 44 degrees.

The temperature on Saturday, though, is expected to reach a high of 50 degrees for the first time in 2018. Dahl said the last time the temperature reached the 50s in the Twin Cities was Dec. 4.

The sun is expected to accompany the warm weather over the weekend.

But temperatures are expected to drop back into the 40s early next week.
