Minnesotans may want to keep the air conditioners and fans running heading into the weekend, according to KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl.
Dahl said temperatures will continue to rise Friday, reaching the high 80s.
The mercury is only expected to go up from there, as temperatures over Memorial Day Weekend could reach the low 90s.
Dahl added dew points will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
While the weather is expected to be warm, most lakes north of the Twin Cities won't be above 70 degrees.
