On Tap: Sun, Rising Temps, Melting Snow

March 11, 2018 08:03 PM

By the end of this week, the sun will have done a number on what's left of Twin Cities snow.

KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas says sun is in the forecast every day this week as temperatures gradually increase.

Monday will begin with sun and temps in the 20s, reaching a high of 38 or so. And that's just the first course.

By Wednesday, highs will be in the mid-40s under sunny skies. And Thursday through Saturday look like carbon copies of each other, with sun and a high of 50 forecasted each day.

At least for now, rain and thunder are in the forecast for Sunday, and Yuhas says there's a chance that could end in some snow on Monday.
