I don't know about you, but stepping outside today, I couldn't help but say "Wow!' Blue skies, light winds, & warm temps are all coming together...combining to make a terrific Tuesday. As I'm writing this, we haven't even made it to noon, and the 11am temp is already 56. 56, in case you're keeping track, is the normal high for April 14th! To take advantage of the warmth and get some great "Chik's Pics" to show on the Midday show today, I went to Thompson County Park in West St. Paul. I wasn't disappointed. There were LOTS of people there enjoying the day! Check out all my pics in my latest blog. Want to read my previous blog?
Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 - Thompson County Park - West St. Paul The weather: spectacular! Sunny, warm, low relative humidity, light winds. We'll see highs in the 60s for sure...finally! The last 60+ temp was 61 on March 22nd! The warmest this year may also be in jeopardy this week. We hit 67 on March 16th. I'm declaring it a "Top 10" Spring day. There's nothing scientific about my assessment,..just me being appreciative of a stellar day. I wasn't alone in my thinking. The playground at Thompson County Park was packed! Here are all my "Chik's Pics" from my morning expedition:
Thanks as always for reading my blog! -Chikage
