March 19, 2018 09:31 AM

It may have felt like spring at times this past weekend, but elements of winter are still hanging on.

KSTP's Sam Ryan said there is a 50 percent chance of scattered snow showers in the Twin Cities late Monday night, and a 60 percent chance of scattered snow showers Tuesday.

Ryan said the high Monday is expected to be around 43 degrees with glimpses of sunshine during the day. Then it is expected to be cooler Tuesday with a high of 34 and a low of 20.

It warms back up a bit Wednesday when conditions are expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 40 degrees. And the high Thursday is expected to be 46.

An early look ahead to the weekend shows rain developing Friday with a high of 44 degrees. That could change to snow late and continue with a rain/snow mix on Saturday when the high is expected to be only 36.
