February 27, 2018 09:28 AM

More sunshine is expected in the Twin Cities Tuesday.

After patches of fog early, KSTP's Ken Barlow's forecast calls for partial sunshine during the day with a high of 42 degrees.

Overnight, Barlow expects partly cloudy conditions with patches of fog again possible and a low of 24.

Clouds are expected to increase Wednesday, but the high should remain around 40. Then Thursday could bring snow showers mixed with drizzle/rain and a high of 36.

Partial sunshine is expected to return both Friday and Saturday, with highs of 38 and 40 forecast respectively.

But Barlow said rain mixed with snow is looming in the forecast on Sunday and Monday.
