Flood Warning Active Across Many Counties until Thursday

Flooding is already starting to shutdown Minnesota roads.

According to the National Weather Service, many Minnesota counties are under a flood warning until Thursday afternoon.

The following counties under a flood warning include: Brown, Le Sueur, Scott, Sibley, Carver, Dakota, Ramsey, Hennepin, Pierce, Washington, Redwood, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, and Yellow Medicine. 

The rivers that have the most potential for overflow and flooding include: Cottonwood, Minnesota, South Fork Crow, Mississippi, and Redwood.

Thunderstorms beginning Monday could jeopardize the situation as the week grows older.
