June 23, 2018 10:15 PM

After a comfortable Saturday, some cloud cover and afternoon storms are on the way for Sunday, according to KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell.

Overnight temperatures are expected to be in the low-to-mid 60s. Mitchell noted there could be a chance for some isolated showers in the western part of the state.

For Sunday, most of the scattered showers and storms will not arrive until sometime in the afternoon. Mitchell says the conditions are not a washout. Sunday's high will be 83 degrees.

Chances for more rain will continue through the early part of the week, and a possibility of reaching the 90s returns on Friday.
