A cool and cloudy day is expected Thursday after rain moves out state, according to the National Weather Service.

Storms brining precipitation to the Twin Cities and other parts of the state are expected to subside by the end of the night Wednesday.

The National Weather Service expects patchy fog Thursday in areas that received high amounts of precipitation.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl expects Thursday to remain cloudy, with cool temperatures in the 70s.
