Minnesotans Can Expect a Chilly, Partly Cloudy Wednesday

October 11, 2017 05:46 AM

A chilly start to the week continues Wednesday, with temperatures expected in the upper 50s to low 60s.

KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan reports some mid-level moisture will move into the state from the south, leading to cloud accumulation in the afternoon.

Ryan said there is a chance of patchy fog and drizzle Wednesday night, with an overnight low temperature hovering around 50 degrees.

Looking ahead, Thursday is expected to be slightly warmer and there is a chance of a few scattered rain showers on Friday, particularly in southeastern Minnesota and central Wisconsin.

A more powerful system is expected to move through the state this weekend, with an increasing chance of rain both Saturday and Sunday.
