Vehicle Crashes into Pond Off Road in Hanover, Driver OK

A woman driving along River Road NE in Hanover early Monday morning is OK after her vehicle went off the road into a pond.

According to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, the call reporting the crash came in at 12:40 a.m.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered a white 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee had gone off the road into the pond as the result of slick road conditions.

Authorities put on cold water suits and were able to rescue the woman from her vehicle.

The woman, 20-year-old Danielle Anastasia, from Delano, was checked at the scene and determined to be OK.
