A St. Cloud faces a felony DWI charge after he was located asleep in his vehicle in Waite Park, according to a release from police.

The release says officers received a call shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the intersection of Waite Avenue and Second Street on reports of a vehicle crash.

The caller told police he noticed the man — later identified as Michael Richard Lemke — at the wheel was asleep at the intersection. When the caller knocked on the window, Lemke woke up, rolled through the intersection and struck a median.
