Man Hit by Light Rail Train in St. Paul, Investigation Continues

Metro Transit said its police force is responding to a light rail train versus pedestrian crash Monday night in St. Paul.

An adult man was hit at Prior Avenue around 7:50 p.m. and transported to Regions Hospital.

Authorities say the extent of injuries is unknown and crash reconstruction is underway. 

Due to the investigation, the Green Line train was shut down in both directions for more than an hour. However, they reopened at 9 p.m.
